St. Charles Field Trip

Missouri's first legislators met in this building, the First Missouri Capitol. They reorganized Missouri's territorial government into a state system. From June 4, 1821 to October 1, 1826, many heated debates about state's rights and slavery filled the rooms of this temporary Capitol. Below, is a picture of the governor's office:

After our journey to the State Capitol, we headed to the Lewis and Clark Boat House where we saw a Power Point about Lewis and Clark and viewed the museum.

100 Team Points

On Friday, we celebrated our success by having a team point party. We obtained 100 team points for awesome behavior. We ordered pizza and ate our lunch in our classroom while hanging out in our jammies. We had a great time!

Our Science Fair Project

As you know, our class is completing a science fair project together. Ask your child all about it to find out the latest scoop. We are excited to conduct the experiment next week!

Origami

Mrs. Bohn, our counselor, come to our class to do a lesson on peace. She talked about the book, Saduku and the Thousand Paper Cranes. She used the following website to help us contruct an origami peace crane of our own.

Snow Days!


Last fall, each child in our class made prognostications on when the St. Louis area would receive more than an inch of snow fall. Abby and David picked January 6th! Tyler, Kassidy, and Hope came in very close by picking January 3rd. Congratulations!
