St. Charles Field Trip

Missouri's first legislators met in this building, the First Missouri Capitol. They reorganized Missouri's territorial government into a state system. From June 4, 1821 to October 1, 1826, many heated debates about state's rights and slavery filled the rooms of this temporary Capitol. Below, is a picture of the governor's office:

After our journey to the State Capitol, we headed to the Lewis and Clark Boat House where we saw a Power Point about Lewis and Clark and viewed the museum.

Musical Performance







The fourth grade did an outstanding job tonight! Their performance was top notch!!!

To investigate invertebrates, we explored the characteristics of earthworms in class today. The students LOVED it!
