Creating Colonial Brochures

Our class found that the 13 colonies were divided into three groups: the New England, Middle, and Southern colonies.  Each group had to research the founders, daily life, government, and geography of these colonial regions.  Then they used the Pages program to create brochures.

Pi Day...

We found that the circumference of a circle is about 3x larger (3.14) than its diameter. We measured many different circles around the room and found this fact to be true.

In addition, we read the book Sir Cumcumference and the Dragon of Pi to illustrate this point. To conclude our study, we ate apple and cherry pie. Yum!
