We wrote procedural pieces to describe how to use a thermometer, microscope, and balance scale.

Students are now being required to write more non-fiction text with the adoption of the Common Core State Standards.  The students did a GREAT job!

Using the Scientific Method to Answer Questions

Which ball will bounce the highest? We wrote a hypothesis, identified variables and constant conditions, recorded and analyzed data. This activity reinforced key concepts of the scientific method and will help the students with their own science fair projects!
